Digital Wristbands

AWOP-badgeWith the success of the wristband payment system over the last couple of years it was a no-brainer to stay cashless for 2018! You are also now able to pre-purchase credit for your wristbands.

You’ll get an easy to use electronic wristband upon arrival that you can top up with credit throughout the day. You can top up with either cash or eftpos and all it takes to transfer credit on or off your wristband is you holding out your hand under the machine, easy as.

Pre-purchase credit for your wristband by coming into OUSA Main Office Reception (640 Cumberland Street) in the week preceding the festival. Office times are Mon – Fri 9:00am to 4:30pm. You will need to bring your ticket and a legal form of ID.

Please note there is a one-off $3.50 activation fee when you first top-up your wristband.

We know you’ll be in need of a taxi home so if you want to get a refund you can do so as you leave the event.

Just pop along to a top up station and we can hand over any credit that’s left on your wristband straight to you in cash money! You can also do this online at www.awop.co.nz up to a week after the festival (this option incurs a $0.60 online refund admin fee).

You can also choose to donate your remaining credit to our festival charity, Youthline Otago.

Festival Glass

Everyone attending the festival receives a complementary festival glass.

Hang on to it for all your tastings throughout the day and then take it home with you as a souvenir, or you can recycle it in one of our speciality bins once you’re done.
